While we are preparing for a well-deserved Summer break, save the date for the biggest international event on digital transformation coming up in September – the ALL DIGITAL Summit 2022!
It will take place in Prague under the Czech Presidency of the EU on 28-30 September 2022 and will focuses on how digital (and other) skills can help people make the best of the digital transformation.
The Summit 2022 is titled “Shaping DIGITAL transformation with and for ALL’’ and will include high-level keynote speeches, panels, workshops and informative sessions. One of these workshops will be hosted by our BIBLIO project in cooperation with the Czech National Library and is titled “BIBLIO x National Library of the Czech Republic present: BIBLIO work based learning and the Digitisation Activities of the National Library of the Czech Republic”. The workshop will take place on 29th September at 14:15-15:30h with the following agenda:

Tomáš Foltýn – General Director, National Library of the Czech Republic
Tomáš Foltýn is the General Director of the National Library of the Czech Republic. Passionate about languages, he studied cultural history before starting to work in the digitization department of the National Library of the Czech Republic in 2008. From there he became Head of the Metadata Creation and Management Department before becoming the Head of the Strategic Planning Department for the Digitization of Library Collections in 2012. In 2013, he was appointed Director of the Collections Management Division and since May 2021, he is Director-General of the National Library of the Czech Republic.
Tiana Zignani – Programme Officer, Publica Libraries 2030
Tiana is a graduate from the University of Edinburgh and La Sorbonne-Nouvelle Paris III. She joined PL2030 in May 2019 as Communications Assistant and now works as a Programme Officer. Tiana manages the social media networks for PL2030 and PL2030’s work in EU-funded projects.
Policymakers, digital education stakeholders, trainers and educators, civic society, industry representatives, and young people will gather in Prague, after 2 years of online meetings, to get the latest insights on policy actions, innovation and projects related to digital skills, education and empowering the young generation. Interesting networking opportunities will be guaranteed in a lively context with more than 150 participants to allow them to connect and exchange ideas.
As the title of the event suggests, the Summit is organised by ALL DIGITAL, partner of the BIBLIO project. The full programme of the event is available here and registration is open. Networking sessions and a market place will complement the wide range of possibilities for exchange and discussions. The event will be preceded by a partners’ meeting of the BIBLIO partners – the first face-to-face meeting since the kick-off in Bari at the very beginning of 2020. We are looking forward to meeting BIBLIO partners and interested stakeholders in Prague!
