The Center for Vocational Training of ULSIT (The University of Library Studies and Information Technologies) is licensed by the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training with license № 2015121282 from 24.02.2016 and conducts licensed courses in Sofia and in the country.

Each of the specialized courses opens an additional door to professional realization on the labour market. The learners have the real opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the working environment throughout the training itself.

Мission of CVT  is to promote vocational training opportunities for unemployed people, recent high school graduates, people in need of guidance for vocational guidance, employees of organizations in need of a higher level of qualification, citizens seeking their own training and qualification.

CVT of ULSIT works towards the following goals:

  • To consult students or recently graduated high school, who have to make the choice in their career development, to make decisions for the choice of higher and / or vocational education, training and work.
  • To conduct information meetings with unemployed persons over 18 years to present opportunities for acquiring professional qualification meeting the demand of the labor market.
  • To consult people who want to choose a new direction of their career development, to make the right choice for a new job or professional endeavor meeting their requirements.

Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo Unico delle Biblioteche Italiane

The Central Institute for the Union Catalogue of Italian Libraries and Bibliographic Information received its current name in 1975, following the constitution of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities.
The Institute cooperates with the Italian libraries, even those pertaining to different administrations (Towns, Provinces, Regions, Cultural Institutes). The main result of this collaboration was the establishment of the National Library Service. This national on-line network, to which the libraries of national and local institutions and universities are connected, constitutes a base for the national collective on-line catalogue, which is managed by the Institute.

ICCU has a deep expertise in digitisation standards and guidelines and coordinates on behalf of the Ministry major digital cultural heritage projects at national level such as Internet Culturale, the portal of the digital resources of the Italian libraries, and CulturaItalia, the national aggregator for Europeana. ICCU will contribute to investigating requirements, best practices and state of art in digital skills needed by library professionals, with a special focus on research and Open Science models.

ICCU is also involved in international projects. The institute coordinates inDICEs (Measuring the ImpaCt of DIgital CulturE) and takes part in other European projects such as Europeana Archaeology and ARIADNE Plus.

Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro

University of Bari Aldo Moro (UNIBA), established in 1924, is made up of 24 departments active in every basic and industrial research.
The Teaching Staff counts 1.439 professor and researchers, who teach in the several degree and post-degree courses offered to the 47.133 registered students.
UNIBA is a beneficiary in many research projects on a national level (PON, Reti di Laboratori, PRIN, FIRB) and on an international level (CORDIS, H2020), in educational projects (Erasmus+, LLP-
Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, TEMPUS IV, LLP-Leonardo and Jean Monnet) and in cooperation programs (IPA, Interreg IIIA Italy-Greece, ENPI-MED).
International activities are relevant and promoted by several agreements of cultural collaboration with European, American and Chinese universities.
The Departement of Humanities DISUM promotes and coordinates the research, training and education on methodological and technologic innovation applied to cultural heritage, and above all on digital cultural heritage and digital libraries, both in its curricular courses and in the training activities of its innovative Digital Multimedia LabUnknown Heritage” within regional, national and
international projects.
DISUM collaborates in education projects on cultural heritage addressed to high and VET schools, aimed at the creation of new digital vocational competences in cultural heritage sector.
